2009 Events A Hogan – Henry Partnership The Henry House Foundation is pleased to announce a partnership with the Ben Hogan Foundation to promote our collective missions and benefit The First Tee of Fort Worth. As a team, we hosted an incredibly memorable event this fall – the first ever Ben Hogan Invitational Golf Tournament taking place alongside the Henry House Foundation’s third annual White Hot Night Gala. Our groups were thrilled to be a part of hosting such a unique and exclusive event to be both competitive and enjoyable. It was an honor to have the Hogan name next to the Henry House mark, and it was a key partnership in bringing together such a strong group of supporters for The First Tee Fort Worth. As a direct result of the tournament and gala, we collectively raised close to $300,000 to help break ground on the Ben Hogan Learning Center for The First Tee of Fort Worth.
This facility will provide offices, teaching bays, classrooms, a study room, library and a Ben Hogan museum. The Ben Hogan Learning Center will be visible proof that children from similar backgrounds to Mr. Hogan’s can achieve their dreams. The White Hot Night Gala took place Sunday September 20, 2009 followed by the Ben Hogan Invitational Golf Tournament that Monday September 21.
